Si tuviera algunas tecnologías de ciencia ficción
A propósito del trailer de Iron Man 2 y la famosa realidad aumentada, escribí un poco de mis tecnologias favoritas presentadas en pantalla grande.
El gran Tony Stark en la película Iron Man hizo gala de su ingenio y de la tecnología que su compañía creaba para perfeccionar armas de avanzada. Muy aparte del super traje, la tecnología que me gustaría tener, es su “asistente inteligente” el cual ayudo a crear y perfeccionar la famosa armadura.
Si podría ordenarlo online del futuro, este asistente digital me permitiría:
- Correr simulaciones: simular la creación de un computador basado en especificaciones personales, configuración, performance, durabilidad, movilidad. Tal vez características necesarias para tener un computador funcionando bajo el agua y conectado al internet.
- Cálculos complejos: usar esta característica para calcular el tiempo que me llevaría buscar en cada computador del mundo.
- Recolección de información: conseguir de inmediato la temperatura, pronósticos de clima, noticias, filtros de datos e información de acuerdo a mis necesidades.
- Navegación interactiva en internet: organizar lo que leo, copiar, organizar, compartir toda mi información pública y personal.
- Notas mentales: apertura de recordatorios futuros de todo tipo y clasificados por prioridad.
Todo esto mediante comandos de voz e interacción inteligente que le permiten a este asistente aprender y sugerir nuevos procedimientos.
Otro de las tecnologías que me gustaría tener viene de la serie de ciencia ficción Stargate Atlantis, donde la tecnología antigua es manejada por interfaces cerebrales con seguridad genética.
Se imaginan tener equipos con interfaces cerebrales.
- Seguridad genética: evitar que personas que no tengan relación con mi genética puedan entrar a mis sistemas computacionales.
- Interface de navegación de vuelo: dirigir una nave espacial, avión u otros con solo representaciones mentales.
- Controlador de juegos: partida virtual en 3D con múltiples jugadores, ejércitos y demás manejados por tus instrucciones mentales, solo habría que tener cuidado con el biofeedback.
Vaya, creo que definitivamente hoy en día necesito algunas de estas tecnologías.

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
Great points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t write on blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault really , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy reading the content .
